Wither Execute — Aggressive PvP Withered Knight

Overview

The Withered Knight's power comes from stacking Wither debuffs without burning them prematurely. Crime is the keystone of this build — it prevents Execute from consuming Wither, so you can Execute freely without resetting your debuff stack. Everything else feeds into that loop.

Core Loop

1. Thorn Guide — Pull the target in. This activates Seize Opportunity, granting Pursuit.

2. Pursuit — Chain into your heavy attack sequence.

3. Apply Wither through normal attacks and Withering Mark.

4. Parry when the enemy commits to an attack — triggers Pursuit again.

5. Execute when available. Crime keeps Wither stacks intact.

6. Legacy restores health as Wither-affected enemies die — sustains you through extended fights.

Talents

• Seize Opportunity — Grants Pursuit after a successful Grappling Hook pull or Parry. Your re-engage tool.
• Crime — Execute does not consume Wither. Core of the build. Without this, every Execute resets your debuff pressure.
• Legacy — Restores health when Wither-affected enemies die. Passive sustain that compounds over long fights.
• Righteous Creed — Temporary physical damage boost after Execute. Converts your execute windows into burst spikes.
• Instant Wither — After a successful Parry, immediately applies Wither. Removes the ramp-up time on your debuff stack.
• Grappling Hook — Thorn Guide pulls enemies and slows them after landing. Makes the initial engagement nearly unavoidable.

Affixes

• Fervid — Strong damage bonus above 70% HP. Stay aggressive and trade favorably early.
• Tenacious — Max HP and healing received. You are a brawler — raw HP matters.
• Stoic — Damage reduction below 50% HP with auto-healing at 30%. Wins fights you should have lost.
• Fervor — Stacking damage and defense penetration through constant attacks. Rewards the aggressive playstyle.
• Burst — Amplifies your Execute damage directly.

Tips

Do not use Execute the moment it's available if Wither stacks are low. Wait until you have full stacks, then Execute — Crime keeps them, Righteous Creed spikes your damage, and you immediately start rebuilding for the next window.

Parry is not just defensive. The Instant Wither proc means a well-timed Parry is your fastest way to apply the first Wither stack and get Seize Opportunity's Pursuit bonus simultaneously.
