Playstyle

The Seer is the backbone of organized trio play and a surprisingly viable solo class through Blight and Smite. Your kit revolves around proactive setup: Runic Totems placed before the fight, Death Ward applied to your carry, and Dispel Curse removing debuffs before they stack. Reactive healing is risky — good Seers prevent damage, not just react to it.

Strengths

  • Only dedicated healer in the game — mandatory in organized trio

  • Runic Totem is placement-dependent — bad placement wastes it entirely
  • Death Ward has a long cooldown in relation to how often it's needed
  • Relies entirely on teammates in PvP: isolated Seers die instantly
  • Mass Heal has a cast time — easy to interrupt at the critical moment

Team Role

Sustain backbone and utility provider. Place Totems before fights, maintain Death Ward on whoever is being focused, and Dispel curses the moment they land. Your positioning should mirror your team's tank — stay close but behind cover.
