Overview

In Mistfall Hunter trios, a Seer is not optional at high level — it's a requirement. The Totem Support build maximizes your team's sustain through Runic Totem placement, prioritizes Death Ward on your carry, and uses Mass Heal as a team reset when fights go sideways.

Empowered Totems is the keystone of this build. Totem healing scales significantly when empowered, and with the right placement, your team becomes nearly unkillable in a defended position.

Role in Trio

You are NOT a damage dealer. Your job:

1. Keep your team alive

2. Place Totems in defensive positions before fights start

3. Death Ward on whoever is being focused

4. Mass Heal when someone drops below 40%

5. Dispel curses from the Shadowstrix's Poison Strike

Skill Priority

  • Runic Totem — Place this before every engagement. Your passive healing engine.
  • Death Ward — Prevents the next lethal hit on an ally. Use proactively on your Withered Knight or Shadowstrix.
  • Heal — Single-target burst heal. Use when someone drops suddenly.
  • Mass Heal — AoE heal for the whole team. Your panic button in chaotic fights.

Positioning

Unlike other classes, you should almost never be in the front line. Position:

  • In boss fights: behind your frontline, near your placed Totem
  • In PvP: behind cover, line of sight from enemies, near two exits
  • During extraction: on the edge of the extract zone, Totem placed inside

Talent Notes

  • Divine Light — Increases all heal amounts. Flat multiplier, always active.
  • Blessing of Mysti — Reduces cooldown of all healing skills when an ally drops below 30%. Emergency mode.
  • Empowered Totems — Your keystone. Totems heal for 60% more when this is active.
  • Soul Link — When you heal an ally, you receive 20% of that heal. Lets you sustain without babysitting yourself.
  • Blasphemer's Pact — Sacrifice 15% of your own HP to instantly fully charge your next healing skill. Emergency team save.
  • Eternal Flame — Runic Totem duration increased. Less frequent placement needed.

Affix Notes

  • Vital — Your healing skills scale with Spirit, but you need HP to use Blasphemer's Pact safely.
  • Resilient — Reduces crowd control duration. You cannot heal while stunned.
  • Fortified — Reduces incoming damage. You need to survive to keep healing.
  • Tenacious — Maximum HP increase means Blasphemer's Pact costs less proportionally.
  • Empowered — Increases healing output. Stacks multiplicatively with Divine Light.

Team Comp Notes

The ideal trio around a Totem Seer:

  • Withered Knight as frontline (benefits most from Death Ward, generates healing opportunities via Legacy)
  • Blackarrow as DPS (needs no healing usually, frees you for the Withered Knight)

Alternatively:

  • Shadowstrix + Seer + Mercenary for a balanced comp where Mercenary tanks, Shadowstrix cleans up stragglers.

Tips

Place your first Totem before the fight, not during. A Totem placed mid-chaos is often placed badly. Scout the terrain, identify the defensive corner, place the Totem there, then initiate.

Mass Heal has a cast time. Don't wait until someone is at 5% HP to cast it — start casting at 35%.
